Meeting with Roisin Tuesday 29th January

The discussion centred on preparation for building the resource, Roisin is of the view that I have gathered up sufficient materials for building large parts of the resource. I expressed my view about the quality and quantity of readily available electronic apps available for download and that it made a lot more sense to have some of these linked to the resource where required rather than developing new apps for basic electronics. I mentioned I would use articulate for the “Maths for Electronics” app and that I would include an introductory resource which gives an introduction and context for employment opportunities for Electronic technicians in Green technologies. Linking these elements together by designing a portal page was also discussed.

Well done Mark on collating all the literature for your rationale and putting a mind map together as part of your project plan.

The next 8 weeks should see your articulate artefact take shape and let me know when you next want to meet.

All the best for now, Roisin

Further discussion centred on progress on the ePortfolio with the Research Methods module to be included in Year 1 modules and posts for year 2 to be moved to the eLearning Research Logbook.
