The meeting
with Roisin my supervisor was held to update progress on my artefact and
progress on the Journal article. We discussed the overall artefact layout and
it was agreed to relocate the bank of 10 questions from immediately after the
glossary section to after the electronics app. I mentioned I would contact
Francis for technical help, on a number of issues (a) how to embed apps into
the resource, rather than just having links to them (b) to check again the
requirements for the computers in DLCFE to run Articulate and other Flash
enabled software.
It was
agreed that a focus group would be the best method for collecting data after
the students had enough experience of
the resource, this post use data, will be collected in late April, early May. I
will email my colleague Philip in DLFCE to further discuss when to implement
the resource for the students.
I said I
would try to accelerate my work on the Journal article to have a draft ready ASAP.
The review,
notes and lecture on academic writing from 2.00 to 3.30 and peer feedback on
our journal articles proved very worthwhile.
