Resource Design & Development (ADDIE) 26/03/13
Discussed with Roisin how the design was progressing, namely the storyboard, structure and flow of the eResource, to be cognisant and not lose focus of the learning objectives. Make sure the programs used in development such as “Xtranormal” and the articulate suite back Salmons 5-stage framework for supporting eLearning and check they are supported by Laurillard and Kolb.
I was reminded of a good foundation to keep in mind, i.e., the design of the eResource is such that the Pedagogy is constructed to create an environment where information is processed and transmitted through communication, explanation, recombination, content, inference and problem solving, cognitive scaffolding will allow you to achieve this.
Development: From what sources you created content and where you got learning materials-Literature review.
Implementation: The plan is put into action and a procedure for training is developed. Materials are delivered or distributed to the student group. After delivery the effectiveness of the training material are evaluated.
Evaluation: This phase consists of formative and summative evaluation.
