Hi Mark,

the current set of feedback attached - it is taking an inordinate amount of time to provide detailed feedback on all these drafts, and it is not possible to complete over a few days. The current draft still needs quite a bit of work and it is not at a stage for submission yet; as a result, I recommend that you take an extension to ensure that the writing and structure is meeting the assessment criteria of year 2 of the programme. I have recommended that you continue to cut down on the word length of the paper in several sections to ensure it fits with your target journal word count.

I have concentrated the feedback on the opening sections of the paper up and including some of the lit review. When you condense these sections, please resend it and I can then focus on the remaining aspects. The main issue with the word count seems to be that you have taken detailed sections from previous annotated bibliography work, without summarising the key arguments for inclusion in the paper.

In terms of the other components for year 2, if you feel it is fully completed, you can submit the project resource for assessment at this point; I recommend you look at the year 2 project assessment criteria to ensure your resource adheres to each of them before you submit.

I advise holding off on the submission of the paper for a further few weeks until you have it revised fully.

When you have the ePortfolio completed, let me know and I will advise if you can submit it for assessment at this time also, or if it needs any further work. Again I recommend you look at the year 2 ePortfolio assessment criteria to ensure your resource adheres to each of them before you submit.

The assessment criteria are in the year 2 handbook.

best wishes, Roisin
